Jerry Webster — Biography
Jerry Webster was born in Elkhart, Indiana, and spent most of his life in Middle Tennessee, where his faith, ministry, and love for music became defining parts of his journey.
Ordained into the ministry in the early 1990s, Jerry went on to pastor two churches in the Middle Tennessee area. For 35 years, his commitment to sharing the Gospel has remained a central part of his life and continues to influence both his writing and music.
Jerry’s musical journey began at the age of 14, when he first started writing songs. Growing up, he developed a passion for singing and learned to play a variety of musical instruments. Over the years, songwriting became an important way for him to express his faith, life experiences, and the message of the Gospel.
In May 2026, Jerry made the decision to devote himself more intentionally to songwriting and music production. Drawing from songs written throughout his life, he began producing and releasing country gospel music. That same month, he established Webster Music, a platform dedicated to producing and sharing his original music and ministry through song. He has since released three albums.
Jerry also proudly served in the United States Army until his medical retirement in 2010. His military service, combined with his Christian faith, has provided inspiration for much of his writing. In addition to his music and ministry, he is the author of two books centered on themes of military service and faith.
